The Walls Have Tumbled Down (Building - Day 1)

Popped in to see the progress at lunchtime (with it being a Saturday) and the builders have made a tremendous start - The wall, door and interconnecting door has been removed and we almost have a doorway to the Courtyard. One point of concern is that a couple of heating pipes have been discovered in one of the walls - currently its being investigated if these can be removed.

A bright and early start Saturday morning. As key holder I opened up the school for Alan and his trusty helpers ready for the "big push" over the Bank Holiday weekend.

After leaving them a short while I returned and what a sight - the Careers Library had disappeared, Miss Blakeman's room was turned into a dining area for the workers. For a treat we had Bakers Oven delights (although the cherry scones left a lot to be desired!!) Craig, Alan, Lionel, Richard, Barry and I had lots of banter, good time had by all. Who wants to be at the seaside on a bank holiday when you can be in school?!!! More tomorrow.
